How we calculate
Simulates month by month until the balance reaches the goal. If unreachable under the given conditions, it says so clearly.
Formula used
Each month, balance is multiplied by (1 + monthly rate) and the monthly contribution is added, repeating until the goal is reached.

Practical example
With a R$ 30,000 goal, R$ 2,000 saved, R$ 500 monthly and a 10% annual return, the calculator shows the months needed.
How to interpret the result
Small increases in contribution or return rate can significantly reduce the time needed.
Limitations
Assumes fixed contributions and a constant return rate, which rarely reflects real investments. Does not account for taxes.
